What an incredible start to the month of July. Besides the weather in Minnesota being brutally hot, this past weekend my wife and I were able to celebrate the marriage of two of our wonderful friends. There is just something about weddings that puts an extra spring in your step and that is just what is needed to start this week ahead!

Always getting better and always moving forward…

If you are working hard towards your health and fitness goals, you have to realize that you are closer than you think. Keep pushing and in no time you will see success!

  • “There are plenty of obstacles in your path. Don’t allow yourself to become one of them.”

Getting fit takes time and persistence, and there will be obstacles that get in your way. One thing you must avoid is letting YOURSELF be one of those obstacles. Set your goals and go after them. Don’t let anything stop you!

  • “We first make our habits. Then, our habits make us.” –John Dryden

Habits are very tough to break, but once you do break them they become a part of you. The great thing about habits is you can form good habits just as easily as you formed the bad habits that you have.

Sure it will take work, but it is all worth it!

Workout of the Week:

Take a look at this ab workout and take it on if you dare:

  • 12 Decline Weight Crunches (Weight behind your head)
  • 15 Hanging Leg Raises
  • 20 Leg Raises to Thrust Up
  • 90 Seconds Planks

Repeat 2-3 Times!

This is an advanced workout so feel free to lower the numbers and reps on the exercises.

Inspiration for the Week:

Getting fit is all about consistency. Take this week to make a consistent effort to workout and eat incredibly healthy foods. The more regular you do this, the healthier and more fit you will be.
