Ultimate Chest Workout

Back in college when I went through my transformation, Levi Seekins played a huge role in pushing me to where I am now. Still to this day, we find ourselves competing in the weight room, on the basketball court, or anywhere else competition is called for. So you can imagine how excited I was when he agreed to do some videos for BodyFit Formula.

In this video we also meet BJ Klein who is another great friend and someone who went through a crazy transformation of his own. We will be hearing from BJ soon talking about just how he stays so fit while working so many hours a week. Be sure to stay tuned for that!

On to the video:

The exercise in this video is a crazy chest workout that I have been doing for years and one that has played a major role in getting me and keeping me fit. I still find myself doing this workout regularly and still see great benefits. Before engaging in this exercise you should make sure of a few things first:

1. Be sure you have good strength on the bench press

This exercise takes tons of strength and the goal is to engage in as much weight as you can comfortably handle. This means before trying this exercise, first focus on building your strength then once you feel you are strong enough, you can engage in this exercise.

2. Always have a spotter

This exercise is a killer so always be sure you have someone to spot you while doing it. It is always recommended that you have a spotter especially when doing heavy weight.

3. Push yourself to get better

Each time you engage in this workout you should be looking for improvement. This simply means coming back stronger than before!

4. Be intense

You must watch this video all the way through to the end to see why I love working out with Levi. He has more energy in the weight room than anyone I know. If what happens at the end of the video doesn’t get you fired up to lift, I don’t know what will!

Take a look at the crazy chest workout below and be sure to watch it all the way through to the end:

Workout

Choose a weight that is comfortable yet challenging:

10 repetitions
10 seconds rest
7 repetitions
7 second rest
3 repetitions
3 second rest
1 repetition
Repeat for 2-3 sets

Your rest between sets should be the time it takes your partner to perform the exercise or 60-90 seconds. Now it’s time for you to give this workout a shot! Be sure to let us know how you enjoyed it.

Also, if you can do 225 pounds on this exercise like Levi did in the video, you will be a beast in the weight room!
