Yes I said it: The food industry is a scam…
Let’s be honest here, the food industry wants people to stay fat…
Wait what? Dennis, are crazy?
The reality is, my statement is the truth.
The food industry could care less about your health. They may be promoting ‘heart healthy’ or ‘diet’ or ‘fat free’ or whatever nonsense label they want to put on food…
But if they truly cared about getting you fit, then why is obesity such a huge and growing epidemic?
Food industries have one goal in mind: to make more money.
This means, cut costs by adding in cheaper and lower quality ingredients, honing their skills of processing foods to make it taste better (and be worse for you)…
…and do whatever they can to make the foods on their commercials not only look good, but make it seem as though they are good for you.
They jump through any hoops they can so that they can slap on the ‘heart healthy’, ‘diet’, ‘fat free’, etc. labels.
They know if they can somehow, some way get that label on their packaging, their income goes up.
And what is horrible about this, is the FDA and their regulations are completely flawed.
Explain to me how a diet coke is “heart healthy”… I honestly can’t tell you how this passed, but I am sure Coca-Cola saw a nice boost in sales when they convinced people their product was now “healthy.”
These food companies spend a fortune on advertising to make people think about their food constantly and to convince them it is healthy.
From the commercials with all the happy friends eating McDonalds, billboard advertisements, to the partnerships with professional sports teams…
The food industry is working really hard to keep people fat!
If you stay fat, you stay a customer…
Think about that for a second:
If you are trying to get fit, do you really think you would be eating McDonalds or Taco Bell? Would you be eating a Hostess cupcake or twinkie? Would you be eating those snicker and twix bars?
No, you wouldn’t.
And when you saw how amazing you felt after not eating those foods, you would never go back to eating them.
See what happened there? Those food companies just lost a customer because you decided to get healthy and fit.
These major food companies don’t want you to be fit… They want you to stay fat!
The longer you stay fat, the longer you stay a customer…
So what can you do about this?
How can you start being different that the vast majority of the population?
The answer is quite simple:
Start getting serious about your health. Get lean, fit, and in shape.
With close to 75% of the population being overweight, you would be in the minority by just being in shape.
And some experts have estimated that only 2-4% of people can actually see their abs.
Don’t you want to be in that 2-4%?
My hope is your answer is a big YES!
If you are serious about changing the way you eat (and to get fit this is 80% of the battle)…
A great place to help get you started is my good friend, Nick Pineault’s, new program ‘The Truth About Fat Burning Foods.’
This thing is jam packed with everything you need to know about the food industry and will teach you exactly how easy it is to eat healthy (and get fit from those foods!).
