I cannot believe that July is already upon us. This summer has flown by thus far, and if you are still not where you would like to be health-wise, July 1st is the perfect time to get started. You have already put it off long enough: “I will start tomorrow” or “I will start when I am less busy” or “I will start next week”, all need to stop!

There is never going to be a perfect time to get in shape and get fit, so why not start now? You have to make it happen. You have to put your foot down, get going on a program and stick to it until you have reached where you would like to be. Let right now be that start. A start to a new healthy lifestyle, and to a new you!

Quotes for the Week:

  • “I may not be there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday!”

It is time to take back your health and get in the best shape of your life. We all have to start somewhere, but what truly matters is that you move one step closer to your goals than you were the day before.

You have two options right now:

  1. Stay right where you are currently
  2. Move forward and keep getting better each day

I choose the latter, and hope you do too!

  • “Keep moving forward.”

Never be at a standstill. Whether this is in fitness, business, relationships, or life. Always be striving to do more and be more!

There is no reason you should not be better today than you were yesterday. Let the start of this new day, new week, and new month be the start of something special for you!

Let there be no more “tomorrows.” Stop putting things off and get started NOW! You only get so many tomorrows so why not take advantage of today?

Workout of the Week:

I have got an incredible bodyweight leg circuit lined up for this week that I challenge you to take on. It can all be done in the comfort of your own home, so before you think about heading out to the gym, take a look at this leg workout:

  • 50 Bodyweight Squats
  • 50 Lunges (25 each leg)
  • 50 Box Jumps (you can use a chair or bench as well)
  • 50 Calf Raises (25 each leg)
  • 50 Tuck Jumps (squat jumps for beginners)
  • 50 Knees to Elbows
  • 50 Single Leg Assisted Squats (25 each leg)
  • 50 Side Lunges (25 each leg)
  • 50 Burpees
  • 50 Double Unders

This workout is incredible if you push yourself hard and minimize your rest periods. Your legs will be done by the end of this workout, so give it a shot if you dare!

Food Challenge for the Week:

With the 4th of July in our midst, I can’t help but be excited for some delicious foods. The challenge this week is to eat incredibly healthy to start and end the week, but to take a break on the 4th to enjoy a cheat day.

Getting healthy is all about balance, so what fun would it be if you couldn’t enjoy all the great foods on the 4th of July?

Inspiration for the Week:

  • “I am not telling you it is going to be easy, I am telling you it is going to be worth it.”

Today is that time in your life to start getting serious about your health. No more putting it off. Trust me, it will not be easy but in a few weeks, you will see why it was all worth it.

Get dedicated, get on a plan and start changing your body and life.
