Being back home for the week felt great after lots of travel lately. I was able to get back to my normal routine and get some incredible workouts in. Lately, I have been working out with a good friend of mine a few times per week and it is awesome having a workout partner again that pushes me. For several months I worked out by myself, and many times it was very hard to stay motivated. Having a workout partner makes a huge difference. If you are struggling to find motivation, find someone that will push you hard each day in the gym and keep you accountable.

On to what I have for you this week:

Quotes for the Week:

This quote speaks for itself: enthusiasm combined with knowledge and persistence will lead to success. You have tons of resources here on this site to help get you fit; so use them, and then take action with enthusiasm and incredible persistence. This combination will lead to great success!

  • “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” -Michael Jordan

I absolutely love this quote. Some people want it to happen but don’t take action to actually make it happen. Others sit back and daydream and wish something will happen only to find that months or years have gone by with no success. Then there are those who make it happen! Be the latter. Be an action taker. Drive each day to become your best. Make each day your masterpiece. Go after what you want. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I encourage you this week to believe anything is possible. If you want to put on 10 pounds of muscle, first believe it can happen then make it happen. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it.

Complete each exercise back to back. Rest only where it says to rest:

Box Jumps: 30 seconds
Push-Ups: 30 seconds
Single Leg Leap Ups on 24 Inch Bench: 30 seconds
Pull-Ups: 30 seconds
Rest 60 seconds

Repeat 3 times

Once finished, rest for 60 seconds and complete the exercises below:

Kettlebell Swings: 60 seconds
Bodyweight Squats: 30 seconds
Kettlebell Swings: 60 seconds
Rest 60 seconds

Repeat 3 times

Total Time: 19 minutes, 30 seconds

Motivation for the Week:

I have used this quote before, but it needed to be restated. If you are doing something that is not working, you must change it. Whether this be in your workouts, nutrition, or life in general. Sit down this week and see where you may need to tweak some things to start getting the results you are looking for. If you are doing something that is working, keep doing it!

Big week ahead as I am working on putting the final touches on a new program I will be releasing soon. I am very excited about this as it consists of some of the best workouts I have ever been through. Plus, I am working on another side project that will be available soon as well.
